Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some helpful hints so you can select the Grand Canyon Tour that's just right for you!
• GRAND CANYON with no RUINS
A popular option. The basic tour focuses strictly on the Grand Canyon. We know that vacations can get expensive so we try to help by offering the lowest cost alternative. Gives you a chance to absorb all you can and enjoy one of the seventh natural wonders of the world.
• GRAND CANYON with RUINS
Not only do you get the Grand Canyon , you get a taste of all that Northern Arizona has to offer.
Volcanoes:
Arizona is home to 28 volcanic craters. Do not worry... none are active.
We visit Sunset Crater Monument. It has such a lunar landscape, that is where the astronauts trained for the Rover mission.
Native American Culture:
Visit to Wupatki Ruins. A visit to the Sinaguans who where trading with the Mayans in southern Mexico before a horse was even ridden in the area.
Drive through the Navajo reservation.
A stop at the famous Cameron Trading Post.
A long day … but a full and fun packed day!
• GRAND CANYON SUNSET
Nothing better than the Grand Canyon than the Grand Canyon at Sunset. A photographer's favorite as the lighting is simply incredible. Also a favorite for those not early risers, as the tour leaves later in the morning.
Sunsets are considered a specialty tour. Meaning the tour is not offered every day and requires a minimum of four guests. We are proud that this tour is exclusive to our company.
• GRAND CANYON with TRAIN EXCURSION
For those train enthusiasts, we offer one more rail excursion to cross off the list. Our tour combines the best of both, a one way train ride and then we meet you as you arrive at the Grand Canyon to continue your exploration along the South rim in the comfort of our vehicle. The train car can be selected from a historical traditional coach up to an upgraded luxury dome experience. Things you should know about the Grand Canyon train ride: The train is slower then normal transportation , so you will sacrifice canyon time.
The train ride is on the way to the Grand Canyon so you dont see the Grand Canyon from the train.
The scenery during your train trip is desert vegetation.
• GRAND CANYON DAY HIKE
You dont really appreciate the enormity of the Grand Canyon til you go below the rim.
The Grand Canyon day hike is a hike in the morning, lunch after, then some sight-seeing and picture taking oppurtunities above the rim to finish out the day.
We use the South Kaibab Trail primarily which offers great views and offers something for all levels of experience.
